Sunday Style

There’s nothing like a hot summer’s night…It’s nice not to have the pressure of homework because it gives our family more free time. Tonight we are going to eat dinner and hear a local band. I think these pictures capture the ease of summer. The Lucky Brand peasant top has a 70′s inspired bell sleeve that is stitched in metallic orange thread. I paired it with my orange Ella Moss shorts and my striped J Crew flats that have a orange trim around them. The white lace dress was from Snap Kids in Nashville. XOXO Z

Breaking News

Breaking News: Oompa Loompa has a baby sister named Florett who lives in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. Windfall Florett (Farnley Magic Word x Windfall Bella by Farnley Jolly Miller) was born in April and the 1st picture was taken right after she was born. The last picture was taken today which shows Florett on the right side and on the left is her Mother (Bay) and Grandmother (Black). I can’t wait to see what Florett looks like in a few years because I know she will be a great pony. Today I showed Oompa Loompa the picture of his sister and he tried to eat the I Phone…Is he jealous already???

Hunter Equipment

I’ve been a bad blogger this week…Unfortunately, I brought home strep throat from North Carolina. I had big plans to train all week before heading to Horse Show By The Bay in Michigan. That changed after I woke up Monday morning to a fever and chills. Thankfully, today I woke up feeling much better…My mom and I started talking about whether I needed new boots before Michigan and Kentucky shows. NO WAY…I love my broken in boots even though they are a bit to tight. I can’t risk getting a new pair before these shows all they need are a good polish. Next on my packing list is my favorite crop and spurs from the Signature Spurs company. They are easy to spot in the barn after I have set them down and are super cute!!!

Sunday Style

Summer is my favorite time of the year…I’m still in North Carolina staying at the historic Grove Park Inn which has the best view of Asheville. My sister and I call the hotel “the mushroom house” because we think it looks like a giant mushroom. Our family ate at Plant last night which is hands down the best vegetarian restaurant in Asheville. Next time you are in Asheville you have to try it!!!  The above photos were taken with my friend Emmie before I went to camp. I’m wearing a bicycle print dress and polka dot shoe from J Crew and the red beret is from Zara. We came across the gnome during the shoot and had to include that little guy. He would fit in perfectly at The Grove Park Inn to bad he’s not with us….XOXO Z

Camp Life

Yesterday was my final day of camp. The highlight of camp was riding a pony named Da Vinci and meeting new friends in my riding group who are going to Pony Finals. I can’t wait to see them in Kentucky!!! I also learned to sew and made a pillow case. I wanted to share these pictures of Lowe meeting Da Vinci, Annie (the miniature pony) and the little jockey. Lowe and the jockey were the exact same size……How cute is that….
