Maleficent by Stella McCartney

Disney’s new film “Maleficent” will be coming to theaters next month. The film is based on the untold story of the iconic villain from the 1959 classic “Sleeping Beauty”.

Elle Fanning plays the part of Princess Aurora in the new film. Aurora must endure the horrible curse that Maleficent places upon her at birth.
Angelina Jolie is mesmerizing in the lead role of Maleficent.
I have been dying to see the new movie but was even more excited to find out about the collaboration between Disney and Stella McCartney Kids Collection. The Maleficent by Stella McCartney Kids capsule collection will launch at Stella McCartney European stores and on starting today. Directly following in early May, the collection will be available in Stella McCartney stores in the US and Asia. The collection will also be stocked at the Disney Stores in Time Square (New York) and at the Disney Store at Harrods (London), in the US, as well as additional select retailers worldwide.
The deigns are amazing and I’ve already placed my order for the light blue “Linda” glitter sandal for summer. I also picked out a special piece for Halloween. I guess it pays to plan ahead because I don’t want that item to sell out. Stella’s designs for the film are just too unique to pass up because they are real collector’s items. Stella McCartney said, “I was always a huge fan of Disney and I grew up watching all the films just like most kids did. With this collection I wanted to play on the rich character traits within the film; the sense of innocence and darkness.”
Well done Stella….

Brownland 2014

YAY…tomorrow is the 2nd weekend of  Brownland Horse Show in Nashville, TN. I’m dying to see Mr. McGregor (aka Radish) and give him a carrot. I’ve missed riding him this week and I’m excited to show in the small pony division. Brownland Farm is beautiful in the Spring with all of the flowers in bloom. It’s my favorite place to spend the weekend with my pony and friends. XO Z

Sunday Style

HAPPY EASTER…I’ve had the best Holiday weekend!!! Mr. McGregor and I just got back from the Brownland horse show in Nashville. I made two new friends who are going to the Devon horse show in May. I can’t wait to see them again…I love meeting new people! Then I came home and dyed Easter eggs with my family. My mom had made natural dyes using food: blueberries, beets, and turmeric spice. The colors turned out to beautiful and then we used glitter pens to add extra sparkle. I woke up today to find the Easter bunny had delivered baskets and I’m off to hunt eggs wearing my silk Stella McCartney dress for Spring 2014. xo Z

Ray of Light

Karlie Kloss and Sasha’s ‘Ray of Light’ fashion story was photographed by Mikael Jansson for Vogue April 2014. This spread will go on my inspiration board ASAP. I love the vintage style of Sasha’s clothes and of course the white horses!!! Bravo
