Sunday Style

I found the coolest Banderole pencils while shopping at Anthropologie after a horse show. These colorful pencils have taken my obsession with doodling, journaling, and writing notes to friends to a whole new level. I can’t resist picking out a color and grabbing my journal to start writing. Hope you like them…XO Z
p.s. They also look great in your room inside a clear container.

Maleficent
Disney’s new film “Maleficent” will be coming to theaters next month. The film is based on the untold story of the iconic villain from the 1959 classic “Sleeping Beauty”.

Maleficent
Elle Fanning plays the part of Princess Aurora in the new film. Aurora must endure the horrible curse that Maleficent places upon her at birth.
Malfeficent
Angelina Jolie is mesmerizing in the lead role of Maleficent.

I have been dying to see the new movie but was even more excited to find out about the collaboration between Disney and Stella McCartney Kids Collection. The Maleficent by Stella McCartney Kids capsule collection will launch at Stella McCartney European stores and on www.stellamccartney.com starting today. Directly following in early May, the collection will be available in Stella McCartney stores in the US and Asia. The collection will also be stocked at the Disney Stores in Time Square (New York) and at the Disney Store at Harrods (London), Disneystore.com in the US, as well as additional select retailers worldwide.

The deigns are amazing and I’ve already placed my order for the light blue “Linda” glitter sandal for summer. I also picked out a special piece for Halloween. I guess it pays to plan ahead because I don’t want that item to sell out. Stella’s designs for the film are just too unique to pass up because they are real collector’s items. Stella McCartney said, “I was always a huge fan of Disney and I grew up watching all the films just like most kids did. With this collection I wanted to play on the rich character traits within the film; the sense of innocence and darkness.”
Well done Stella….

Fresh Start-Up

My family and I went to the Farmer’s Market in Rosemary Beach, FL during Spring Break. They had wonderful fresh fruit and veggies but my favorite find was “The Pampered Princess” bath bombs. I love fresh smelling soaps, lotion, and body scrubs and these are 100 % organic. The coolest thing about the company is that it was started by a young girl who wanted chemically free products…How cool is that…Be sure to support this awesome new company. Below is her companies mission statement:

The Pampered Princess was started by 16 year old Madison Stevenson. Madison had to change her lifestyle forever after she discovered a loved one was too sensitive to use such harmful chemicals on a daily basis. Now Madison and her family have turned completely natural and organic. Madison started making organic soaps as Christmas gifts. Soon after business was booming! The Pampered Princess is always growing. Our philosophy is that you can be a healthier you by switching to organics. We believe in fresh ingredients, fresh vegetables, and fresh fruits. We believe in homeopathic healing and aromatherapy. Our goal is to show people how easy it can be to use all organic products, starting with the soap you put on your skin every day!

Just Peachy…

Marie-Chantal Spring 2014 designs are the best…This Spring 2014 collection hit a high note with the right mix of peach, pink and green colored designs.
The styling of this advertising campaign is highlighting one of the biggest trends of the season which is wearing a colorful sock with dress shoes.
The yellow dress with pink accents is the PERFECT dress for Spring…It looks adorable with the ballet flats…Who knew that sea foam green (my favorite color) paired with other shades of green  would make such a wonderful combination… Marie-Chantal did…that’s who…

I Want Candy…

I wanted to share these photos of a snowy winter day in NYC…My sister and I wanted it to snow in NYC during Christmas break but just a few flakes fell during this walk to a candy store.
But not just any candy store…
Dylan’s Candy Bar is always at the top of my list of things to do while I’m in NYC.  The store is huge and filled with every type of candy that you can imagine. The store is designed with colorful images of candy and decorated with actual pieces of candy on the staircase. I love the chocolate fondue station…Pretzels, marshmallows, strawberries…YUMBut my favorite thing to buy there is comfy cozy sweatpants and I got the coolest oversized cupcake pillow. I can’t wait to go to Dylan’s Candy Bar other store in Traverse City, Michigan during Horse shows by the Bay.
