I’ve been a bad, bad blogger…
The last few weeks have been jammed packed: end of the school year, Devon Horse Show, and the start of my summer vacation. It’s been the busiest and best two weeks of my life. I got to see my equestrian friends from all over the country compete at Devon. We were all cheering for each other and got to hang out at the fair and eat the famous “fried oreo” and lemons. The best part of the show was spending time with my brother Maxime and riding Mr. McGregor.
Happy Sunday…I’ve got two more weeks of school left before summer. I’m very excited to spend time at the beach this summer and attend some of my favorite horse shows. Less school means more riding time with my best friend Mr. McGregor. Today my whole outfit is from Bonpoint
…except for the hat which is Scotch R Belle
Disney’s new film “Maleficent” will be coming to theaters next month. The film is based on the untold story of the iconic villain from the 1959 classic “Sleeping Beauty”.
Elle Fanning plays the part of Princess Aurora in the new film. Aurora must endure the horrible curse that Maleficent places upon her at birth.
Angelina Jolie is mesmerizing in the lead role of Maleficent.
I have been dying to see the new movie but was even more excited to find out about the collaboration between Disney and Stella McCartney Kids Collection. The Maleficent by Stella McCartney Kids capsule collection will launch at Stella McCartney European stores and on www.stellamccartney.com
starting today. Directly following in early May, the collection will be available in Stella McCartney stores in the US and Asia. The collection will also be stocked at the Disney Stores in Time Square (New York) and at the Disney Store at Harrods (London), Disneystore.com in the US, as well as additional select retailers worldwide.
The deigns are amazing and I’ve already placed my order for the light blue “Linda”
glitter sandal for summer. I also picked out a special piece for Halloween. I guess it pays to plan ahead because I don’t want that item to sell out. Stella’s designs for the film are just too unique to pass up because they are real collector’s items. Stella McCartney said, “I was always a huge fan of Disney and I grew up watching all the films just like most kids did. With this collection I wanted to play on the rich character traits within the film; the sense of innocence and darkness.”
Well done Stella….
YAY…tomorrow is the 2nd weekend of Brownland Horse Show
in Nashville, TN. I’m dying to see Mr. McGregor (aka Radish) and give him a carrot. I’ve missed riding him this week and I’m excited to show in the small pony division. Brownland Farm is beautiful in the Spring with all of the flowers in bloom. It’s my favorite place to spend the weekend with my pony and friends. XO Z
