Sunday Style

HAPPY EASTER…I’ve had the best Holiday weekend!!! Mr. McGregor and I just got back from the Brownland horse show in Nashville. I made two new friends who are going to the Devon horse show in May. I can’t wait to see them again…I love meeting new people! Then I came home and dyed Easter eggs with my family. My mom had made natural dyes using food: blueberries, beets, and turmeric spice. The colors turned out to beautiful and then we used glitter pens to add extra sparkle. I woke up today to find the Easter bunny had delivered baskets and I’m off to hunt eggs wearing my silk Stella McCartney dress for Spring 2014. xo Z

Ray of Light

Karlie Kloss and Sasha’s ‘Ray of Light’ fashion story was photographed by Mikael Jansson for Vogue April 2014. This spread will go on my inspiration board ASAP. I love the vintage style of Sasha’s clothes and of course the white horses!!! Bravo

Grand Prix Hermes of Paris 2014

Honestly, I can’t think of anything better than attending The Grand Prix Hermes of Paris. First of all, the venue is none other than the elegant Grand Palais, which hosts many of Chanel’s fashion shows. But on March 14, 2014 it hosted some of the top Grand Prix riders in the world. This showed the audience what equestrian show jumping is all about.

The images that spotlight horses flying over jumps, with the Grand Palais windows in the background, transform these beautiful creatures into living artwork. Reed Kessler of United States piloting Ligist during Le Saut Hermes Team Prix.

Marcus Ehning of Germany on Cornado NRW won the Grand Prix Hermes during the third day of the Grand Prix Hermes of Paris at Grand Palais on March 16, 2014 in Paris, France.

The horses reminded everyone that they were the real stars of the show, wearing bright orange Hermes horse blankets, into the ring to collect stylish show ribbons, they seemed pleased with their hard work. Congratulations to the riders and horses for putting on a wonderful show!!!

Sunday Style

Happy Sunday…I’ve had a weekend off from horse shows and it has been nice to reconnect with my school friends. I finished my huge school project called “Color My World” which was all about France. My dad and I built this Eiffel Tower out of a kit which took a lot longer than expected. I’m wearing a Marie-Chantal coat which is the most stylish piece of clothing in my closet for Spring 2014. The design reminds me of old Hollywood glamour something Audrey Hepburn would have worn and the color is amazing. Pastels, pastels, pastels I can’t get enough of them.
